Meet the Owner

Founder and owner Kyle Hurd discovered his passion for construction at a young age while helping manage his family’s rental properties. After graduating from Lawrence Central High School, he pursued his education at Vincennes University, where he earned a degree in Construction Technology in 2009. It was during a senior project—building a full-sized home from the ground up—that Kyle realized his true gift for masonry.

Kyle went on to spend more than seven years working with leading construction and masonry companies, gaining valuable experience and refining his skills. In April of 2015, fueled by his dedication to craftsmanship and desire to deliver the highest quality service, Kyle founded Hurd Masonry & Construction.
